Lessons on Stewardship
Ron Blue

1. God owns it all.

2. Money is never an end in itself, but is merely a resource used to accomplish other goals and obligations.

3. Spend less than you earn and do it for a long time, and you will be financially successful.

Is it wrong to then have a long-term goal of financial independence? I believe not--unless financial independence is defined as having enough to be independent from God.
