Daily Bible Reading:
Matthew 25:18
I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
We are representatives of Jesus Christ; we are His hands and His heart to our families, communities, neighbors, and the world. Our lives should reflect the mercy and love of Jesus to everyone we come in contact with. Sometimes it may require hands on participation, a little sweat, some tears, or maybe even getting our hands dirty. Volunteering to help, wherever and to whomever there is a need, willing to go the extra mile, giving and serving. Can you even imagine Jesus in need of food and us not inviting him to dinner? If He were hurt and we would not tend to His wounds? If He needed a friend to talk to and we did not have the a few minutes to spare, If He was sick and ignored His plea for help? Of course we would do all those things for Jesus and more. Then we have to ask ourselves why we don't do these things for those we see and come in contact with every day. Our faith in action; it certainly speaks volumes over our words. There is something we can do today for someone that would make a difference in his or her day. Whatever we do whatever needs done; we should do it as unto Jesus.

Prayer
Help me today Lord to step outside the walls of my own little world, and touch the life of another with your love and your goodness. I desire to be a good representative of You and to do as You do. Show me today what needs to be done. I volunteer. Amen
